Phonemic Awareness initial/ending, medial sound positions, blending segmenting Rhyming	These worksheets provide practice in phomemic blending, segmentation, and substitution. Students will gain practice in identifying sounds at the beginning, middle and ending positions. They will develop the understanding of onset and rimes and will be able to identify rhyming.
Vowels Fill in the vowel identify the vowel sound word family CVC Patterns digraph/diphthong rcontrolled vowels	The main vowels are a, e, i, o, u and sometimes letters "y" and "w". The vowel worksheets will help students: identify long and short vowel sound, decode and spell long and short vowel words, and identify vowels at the initial, medial and ending positions. They will also be able to segment all three phonemes in a CVC words as well as identify and spell words with vowel digraph/diphthongs and rcontrolled vowels.
